Palm Springs Hats

Palm Springs, heat-stamped on full-grain leather and made to order. PSP — the desert resort town. Wear where you're from.

About Palm Springs Hats

Palm Springs is mid-century cool in the middle of the Sonoran Desert — the San Jacintos rising straight up behind town, the pools and the palm groves, the modernist houses and the aerial tram. It's a desert resort town that's never quite gone out of style.

These Palm Springs hats carry PSP, the airport code, heat-stamped deep into a full-grain leather patch rather than lasered onto the surface. Whether you live in the desert year-round or escape to it every winter, it's a hat that says Palm Springs. Made to order and stamped by hand, on full-grain leather that deepens and softens with wear.

Common questions about our leather patch hats

FAQ

Where are your hats made?

Every hat is handcrafted to order in small batches. We source premium hat blanks and full-grain leather, then handle the design, cutting, heat-stamping, and assembly ourselves. Small batches, high standards.

Why heat-stamped and not laser-engraved?

We use heated brass dies to press our designs into full-grain leather, creating a deep, detailed impression with natural texture. Unlike laser engraving—which burns the surface and can look flat or scorched—heat-stamping produces a rich, premium look that won't fade or wear away over time. It's the same technique used by traditional leather craftsmen, and it's why our patches stand out.

What type of leather do you use for your leather patches?

We use full-grain leather—the highest quality leather available. Full-grain means the hide's natural surface hasn't been sanded or buffed, so it's stronger, more durable, and develops a natural patina over time. It's the same leather used in premium wallets and belts, and it's why our patches look better the longer you wear them.

What does your lifetime craftsmanship guarantee cover?

We stand behind the quality of our work. If your leather patch peels, cracks, or separates from the hat due to a craftsmanship defect, we'll replace it—no time limit. This doesn't cover normal wear and tear, but it does mean you can trust that your hats are built to last.
